Since 1957, Ohio Pools
and Spas has been providing the
people of Northeastern Ohio with the finest possible quality
recreational products and service possible. We
are a family-owned business, owned and managed by the Annis
brothers, Bob and Rich. Bob sums up the company's philosophy
with a very concise, yet meaningful mission statement...
"It is the
mission of Ohio Pools to provide the people of northeastern
Ohio with the most reliable fun and relaxation money can buy.
Continued achievement of our goals will enhance the lives
of our customers and employees."
We began selling inground
pools and chemicals in 1957 in a converted garage in
Canton. We have grown by adding additional recreational products
over the years, most notably Hot Spring portable spas in 1981,
patio furniture in 1985, above-ground pools in 1994, and,
in 1999, a complete gameroom department, including Connelly
billiard tables, bars, stools and poker tables. From that
meager beginning, we grew into a 9,000 square foot facility
in North Canton, added a 5,000 square foot store in Mayfield
Heights in 1995, and then doubled our North Canton store to
18,000 square feet in 1998.
Ohio Pools and Spas
has received numerous awards, including being recognized
six times by the manufacturer of Hot Spring portable spas
for outstanding achievement in retailing and servicing their
products. In addition, we have been chosen by Aqua Magazine
as one of the Top 100 Pool and Spa Dealers in the nation -
four times! We are members of the National Spa and Pool Institute,
the Better Business Bureau, and the Building Industry Association.
We conduct every transaction
in our business, no matter how large or small, in
a manner which supports our nomination for those awards and
certifications, and the standards of the organizations to
which we belong. In short, it is our philosophy to do our
best to surprise our customers by delivering more than they
expect…
